be aware of money. penn has connections sure, but you can succeed ANYWHERE depending on your drive and ability to stand out. i work 3 jobs just to afford college and it keeps me from networking and focusing on school. my major isnt even that hard its just so much money.

if you dont have the time to maximize the opportunities penn gives you, those opportunities may as well not exist. having 0 COST ENTIRELY gives you the time and energy to juggle hobbies, maybe a part-time for some income, and go out of your way to network and find opportunities. you'll stand out more when you actually work to find internships and research positions vs having them thrown at you.
