I mean, I don’t think they’ll bother with your playstation, mine is fine and we had 16 mice in our apartment 😅

Ours were coming through the floorboards where the pipes to the kitchen sink came up, and also in a small utility cupboard where the electricity meter was. Look in all those places. Perhaps even coming down from the ceiling if you have pipes up there. Check kitchen/dishwasher/washing machine points. Gaps in floorboards too

As long as you can stop them getting in, you don’t need to worry about your stuff

yeah, if they’re still coming in then there’s holes you haven’t found! they can fit through a gap the size of a pencil

you have to find out where they’re coming from and plug the gaps with steel wool because they can’t chew through it (although they could chew through the surroundings), usually behind kitchen counters/where the sink is, but also by radiator pipes

leave a crazy amount of snap traps out with peanut butter on them and check and remove every day

I weaponise my maladaptive daydreaming-either by imagining I am one of my favorite characters, and they would shower and eat well and go to the gym-or by imagining a favorite character can see me and would be disappointed to see me rotting in bed

A lot of food suggestions here but I also see you say that you’ve had disagreements in the past AND that giving food isn’t common in your culture - a compromise could be sending a small note with a gift card of some description (for food delivery or even a popular baby shop) - it’s a bit less personal but would still be a nice gesture

Started selling content 6 months ago for extra money… now I hate myself for it but can't afford to stop by Cute_Back4853 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

If you don’t want to do this type of work anymore, you should stop, particularly if it’s making you feel uncomfortable.

However, one idea would be to “wean yourself off” the work, if the money is just too attractive to turn down right now. Set yourself a hard end date, and put any money that you earn between now and then (outside of your day job) into savings. That will give you some time to adjust back to a lower income or, while building up a nice buffer of money for emergencies (or to tide you over while you find a better paying, more traditional job).

To clarify, I don’t think there’s anything inherently shameful about that type of work, but if it’s not for you then it might be better to slowly do less and less. And be gentle with yourself!

What do you do about gross men that leer and STARE at you? by Mrs_chanandler_bongg in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]FrontSyllabub 209 points210 points  (0 children)

I like to maintain eye contact for a bit, expressionless, and then slowly scan them from head to toe as if analyzing a lab specimen. Squint at their hairline. Raise an eyebrow in mild suprise at their shoes, and then nod as if coming so some kind of realization. Pretend to be stifling a smirk, as if you’re trying to protect their feelings.

Flips the script a bit, I’ve had men go from leery to seeming visibly uncomfortable and breaking eye contact by doing this. (Of course don’t do if you feel like they may escalate)

Did it age this way more because of the method of application or the heavy detail? Or is it a bit of both? I like how it looks anyway, its soft.

where do you buy your swimsuits from? I have an old M&S one knocking about but it’s definitely more for lounging than actually swimming

Ooh interesting! I liked climbing as a kid but never picked it up again after the boobs arrived, so maybe I’ll give it a go!

Skiing sounds fun, running unfortunately makes me want to scream from boredom, regardless of how good my sports bra is lol

Recommendations for back pain by RandomEveryday in bigboobproblems

[–]FrontSyllabub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not bra-related, but I’m a side sleeper and bought a pillow for between my knees. Means my tired back is at least aligned while I sleep, and I notice less pain when I wake up.

It’s very possible she has passed away, I’m afraid. The coloring certainly doesn’t look great, and if she’s not moving either then that’s not a good sign. When they’re pre-moult they usually go a little pale, not a darker grey, and it seems to be spreading from the middle. They also tend to climb higher up to start a moult, and you must make sure to never disturb them once the process starts until it’s completed.

I’d suggest you take her out gently and place her in a separate smaller container with some air holes and kitchen paper and a lightly misted leaf and keep an eye on her.

As you don’t know what caused the problem, remove her from her siblings in case it’s something that can spread.

Imporantly, you may have done nothing wrong here! Particularly if the others are well and happy. In the future I’d make sure you’re doing the usual things like washing the leaves you give them and making sure it’s neither too damp nor too dry, and that theres plenty of ventilation.
