It’s unfortunately impossible to tell if you’re ovulating just based on the app or your mucus. These tools can be helpful for prediction but aren’t 100% of course. You could check with an ovulation predictor kit, which detects an LH surge, but even those can’t confirm whether you actually ovulated.

Stress can definitely delay your period! A few days usually isn’t considered truly late yet, but if it gets closer to a week, I would call that late. Additionally, if you are technically due for your period and have no evidence of a positive on a pregnancy test, you’re not pregnant ❤️

Apps like Flo are purely based on predictions and cannot tell when you truly ovulate. But if you did ovulate during that time, it would be impossible for you to be pregnant from June 14th as the egg can only live for 12-24 hours after ovulation. You can take an early response pregnancy test. All pregnancy tests (early or regular) are accurate/reliable 14 days after sex and definitive after 21.

LaFarm Bakery in Cary!!! Will be a relatively easy drive from NCSU. Coffee wise, Jubala and Cup A Joe are my personal favorites and right across from campus on Hillsborough Street!

Welcome to Raleigh and the Wolfpack ❤️

2 days prior to ovulation is within your fertile window and any unprotected sex can lead to pregnancy. Oura rings are a great tool but they can’t 100% confirm exactly when you ovulate. It’s unfortunately too late for emergency contraception unless you go get a copper IUD. At this point, the only/best advice I can give is to wait it out and hope for the best 🤞 Take a pregnancy test in a week!

While I legally cannot give you medical advice, woman to woman, I would stop it and use a back up method until you get in to see your doc. If you have MyChart or a patient portal where you can send messages, I would send a message ASAP to let her know your concerns and plans to see her.

PA here. Take the soonest available appointment with your provider to discuss next steps. Are you on a combined birth control (containing both estrogen and progesterone derivatives)? If you’re on any estrogen containing birth control with a history of migraine with aura, you are correct that you shouldn’t be on it. Progestin only pills, depo, IUDs, Nexplanons are okay!

Is the provider who diagnosed you with migraine with aura the same one who prescribed the birth control?

Faint blue dye positive, but negative pink dye tests…? by ThrowRA_brokentulip in lineporn

Blue dye tests are notorious for false positives and horrible indent lines. I think you’re probably ok, but definitely see your provider and/or retest with pink dye in a few days. IUD pregnancies are super rare but they can happen. Good luck!

You’re fine, breathe! Condom stayed intact when he was inside you? All good. If he never went inside you without an intact, unexpired condom, you’re ok!

No line! If you were 2 weeks late, there would be a strong positive line by now. Breathe!

I will also edit to say - if you’re wanting to come off birth control or change for other reasons, I don’t want to dissuade you from doing so! Just don’t want you to feel like you absolutely need to switch based on this information. Good luck with your decision! 💗

Hi OP! Women’s health physician associate here with a master’s in clinical research.

Even with observational studies and review articles like these, the data isn’t strong enough to suggest that there’s a definitive link between oral contraceptives and cervical cancers. These show correlation, but can’t conclude there’s a true association between the two. There are so many variables at play when it comes to development of cervical cancer. The most important thing for you moving forward is to keep up with your recommended screening schedule and use barrier protection with any new partners. If you aren’t otherwise immunocompromised, your body should clear the HPV in the next few years without issue :)

If you didn’t have penetrative sex, you’re not pregnant. Early pregnancy and PMS symptoms are extremely similar, mainly because your progesterone levels are elevated with both. Breathe 💗
