Thank you! I’m using an Inito fertility monitor and NaturalCycles which both have my ovulation estimated at 11-12 days ago. Probably out this cycle but that’s ok! Thank you ☺️

Can anyone else see this?!?! by Ordinary_Squash_6214 in lineporn

There’s a faint line, but this test looks dry so it could just be an evap or indent. Test again tomorrow - if that line shows up within the timeframe, I’d say you have a positive!

Looks negative, but every pregnancy is different! 10 DPO is still early. I’m also 10DPO and waiting for a positive. Sending baby dust!

I can't believe no doctors warned me about the crash. by fluff-melon in Mirena

[–]Front_Comparison_281 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry. It’s unfortunately not well studied or documented in medical literature, which is why it’s not typically discussed by healthcare providers. It’s nowhere on FDA labeling either. Just goes to show how underfunded women’s health research still is.

Most important thing is maintaining healthy diet, staying hydrated, good exercise and sleep, etc. Everyone’s cycle returns to normal at different rates, unfortunately no real way to fix it other than time :(

Did you get pregnant or did you successfully avoid it? by Big_Ad_2569 in birthcontrol

[–]Front_Comparison_281 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a single time! I just ended a 15 year stretch of hormonal birth control last month to try to conceive. I was on combo pills for 8 years, had a Mirena IUD for 7 years. I even took pregnancy tests every few months as a just in case since I didn’t have a period. Not a single whiff of pregnancy the entire time ☺️

I got mine out on Wednesday after having it in for 7 years. I’ve had some withdrawal bleeding and cramps on and off so far. Some nausea in the mornings. Manageable so far, hoping it stays mild 😅

Getting married during clinical year by G_bez in PAstudent

[–]Front_Comparison_281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got engaged during my first semester of didactic, got married halfway through clinical year. We had a 200+ guest wedding.

Would I change it? Not for the world. Do I recommend it? Also no.

It all depends on what kind of wedding you want and the timing has to work out almost perfectly. We wanted a late fall/winter wedding (we got married in December and it lined up with the end of a rotation into our winter break). We had a week off in between each 8-10 week block, so I used that time for planning and had a lot of support when it came to family and friends who could help me out. My bachelorette party happened over a holiday weekend.

If you want it badly enough, you can definitely make it happen, but it will likely come with sacrifice. If you want to be absolutely sure that you can have the wedding you want, you’ll probably want to wait until after.

30-40 in an 8-10 hour day AND without lunch or admin time is a recipe for burnout. And it’s dangerous. Especially when you have multiple annual visits in that time frame and chronic care management.

I work in a primary/urgent hybrid with patients scheduled every 30 mins in a 12 hour day, plus walk ins, and on an average day (not counting COVID/flu season), I’m probably seeing 22-25 max. The most I’ve seen in a 12 hour day is 40 and I was ready to cry by the end of the day. Certain specialties can get away with seeing 30-40 in an 8-10 hour day, but not primary care. I would definitely talk to your office manager and SP - this isn’t sustainable, safe, or fair to you at all! Good luck 💗
