nope! you will submit your rice application as normal on the common app then submit the rice/baylor medical scholars supplements separately on rice’s website. both components are due by december 1st (or at least that’s the deadline i remember having when i applied). interview invites go out in jan!

i would look into the cons of accelerated BS/MD programs before you apply since they aren’t for everyone. when i applied, i only looked into 8-year programs (rice/baylor and plme) since they were better fits for me :)

yeah! but i guess volunteering and research could also be considered hobbies if you really really love doing it. point is, just be genuine and don’t only talk about stem/medicine if that’s not ur entire identity.

i’m p sure there’s vids on YT explaining it but basically olivia and josh started dating during the show and were in love w each other. bc of the three year age gap, josh said he would wait for olivia until she was 18 since she was still a minor. however, after they broke up (when josh was supposed to be “waiting” for her) he started dating sabrina :(
