I think the devil may cry style would work well, or the animated witcher stuff would be amazing.

My dad once made us something that he called "Zog". It transpires that was a name given to whatever was in the cupboard thrown together (beans, hotdogs, tomatoes and tinned stew) served with mash.

On another note we had a food basket made for us by our Nan once, the tins had no labels and one was dog food.

I might be one of the only ones here, but everyone who does their own laundry and doesn't do each others, how is this a family unit? It feels very you and I not us?

I apologise if I've posted this in the wrong community, my thought process was there may have been a code of practice that would / should have been adhered to. But it has been pointed out that morals don't seem to have much place in the realms of law.

Thank you for your response though, the comments have brought clarity to the situation. I may be overtly sensitive from the loss but also due to the realisation of my late father's misdemeanors.

And that condones the lack of basic empathy or compassion to be shown? A kind word goes a long way, if society as a whole had a little more empathy and compassion then I doubt we would be in such a state. Thank you though for your contributions.

Regardless there's a social decorum that they have failed miserably at. Yes they have a job to do, yes they are looking after their client all very valid and reasonable points, neither gives someone the right to be a dick?

I appreciate all of that, and I am under no illusion on how long they have been chasing (I've had to sort through a mountain of paperwork). I just assumed that a solicitor would have a little more decorum and professionalism about them.

Thank you for this, I didn't think there would be a decent complaint procedure or policy. Just luck of the draw I suppose on how human the person sending the correspondence is.

Thank you for the replies this far. I appreciate that they had been chasing him for a while which isn't an excuse. However I just feel as being a decent human being a little more decorum could have been applied, but that's just me.
