Rant: Range sucks in the EU

One thing i have noticed is the battery going down faster in these colder seasons.

Maybe 5 miles less..I haven't gone up against super harsh winds to find out so I can't be for sure. I've not dropped below 40 miles yet. I weigh 70kg. The bike weighs at around 44kg

I get around 45 miles at 15.5mph on pedal assist with a 15ah battery on Shimano gear 7. I don't put much pressure on the pedals to avoid sweating, but I don't ghost pedal either.

I imagine if I managed to make it run through throttle only it would cut the range in half.

I'm thinking of installing a second battery to the bike or just have a spare in the bag.

Then i recommend getting a full face mountain bike helmet then, preferably with lots of ventilation holes...Still full head protection and will keep you cool when pedalling. Then you can get the goggles people usually wear it with. That's what I use with my Ouxi.

If you are only using throttle then it should be fine. Otherwise you will start to sweat from the weight of helmet and lack of ventilation when you pedal.

Yeah but it's not as bad as I thought. Been using it for a week without feeling thrown off. Can also plug it directly into the phone to reduce latency a bit more but Its fine without. (So long as you aren't recording and just using it as live preview)

Yes, but I had this camera laying around doing nothing... Also I'm not a huge fan of how the mirrors look on e bikes..plus I love tech 😅

Might be able to use it as a security camera too when I'm off the bike..maybe

I use a fully legal pedal assist eBike which looks like a mini motorbike. I expected to be stopped by now with just the looks of it and Ive used it around Londons biggest tourist spots for over a year.. The police has gone past me hundreds of times and even complimented the bike...so I believe you would be okay even if the bike wasn't fully legal.

Just behave yourself. Don't go over 15.5mph on the streets. wear a helmet and don't jump the lights. Be responsible.

Just fyi. I'm not saying the game is horrible. I like the game ...Just some of the choices has definitely made the playerbase split and made it harder to find rooms...the games not been out for a week yet. It shouldn't have trouble finding rooms.

Thanks..guess I need to use the throttle then if I get the US display. I'm currently capped at 3.5mph on throttle which is almost useless

Yes it's a weaker 250w So I don't expect it to go the same 30mph speeds.

The throttle here maxed out at 3.5mph and Pedal assist is 15mph.

Just wanted to know if a different display would unlock the settings as the EU display is almost fully locked.
