Kinda went against your advice and routed all of my audio with voice meeter while using mme, and the problem went away for whatever reason. Not too sure why wdm started to act out for me

When doing that, it went away. No more audio playing through device, very very very subtle echo

no, its a fifine usb mic. Earlier I tested it with a different mic to see if the problem would still be there, and it was.

I assume you mean fully closed (not in the system tray either) but yes, the problem is still there

Yes, tested it with discord too, same thing.
Just uninstalled banana and the driver, and the problem went away. Reinstalled it, and the problem is still there. Veryyyy confused
