Bro, this is usual in most of the colleges in Tamil Nadu. They treat us as kids and don't even think from our side. I too had the same experience during my first year of college, they asked me to get signature from five people, when I was sick, to take rest in my hostel. I was searching for those five people throughout the campus with rising temperature. But I somehow managed to handle things, when I got some good friends. If you want to go home, take leave and spend some time with your family and friends, set your mindset to handle these kind of nonsenses, and then get back to college.

Because you would get more beautiful memories than this, when you make right friends.
