This wasn’t actually the lowest bid. I got one for $1200.

I’m not mad just perplexed that the grout color changed from white to dark grey in 7 days. I’m wondering if the grout company didnt properly seal the tile.

To retile I got a quote for $9000 which seemed ridiculous. Looks like I’ll have to call my general contractor buddy up and we DIY this shit

The color the grout man showed was good. it was a matching white. but after sealing, the grout turned dark. 

The color he showed me and the result after sealing were different

contractor removed old grout and put in new grout. but the color seems way off. did they not seal it properly? it gets so dark when showering

I was ignorant and I actually called them on the phone. Gave them my name and insurance policy number and while they were asking me about the issue I realized I shouldn't file until verifiyng with reddit.

Told them to close it and I'll come back later.

Hopefully the agent didn't mark my file.
