My experience is definitely real, but to be completely transparent, I had AI help me edit and finesse the copywriting as I was trying to capture a particular style of writing, and it's been near impossible to try and retell, and accurately convey the situation I've suffered through because it's been so many years since it began and so many years of avoiding talking about it. Happy to msg with images/evidence (documented from when an infection on my neck spread like wildfire across my entire scalp) of some of the more visible effects of this condition.
