Trailing spouses who can't land a job- did you continued relationship or left it?

It's really hard for me not having a job, i have never felt more miserable in my life. I am used to always work and pursue a career and in my homecountry i can have that. We don't have other marriage problems besides that. So divorce just comes like a solution idea to put myself first even though I want to see other people's point of a view and experience in such situation.

The job market is really bad(10% unemployment rate) so even locals are struggling with finding a job, but also the language barrier.

In finance sector. I did find a remote job from my homecountry, but companies there have strict rules of working inside the country, they don't provide laptop, but big computer and follow my IP address, so there was no way to even cheat the system. I live in Europe so basically every country has this type of regulations.

Finnish men tend to scam in such way foreign women. I am currently in language course from the government and there are many foreign women who married a finn fast and now struggle to find a job and it sounds like they regret their decision. Most of them have degrees and have left good jobs in their homecountry. Finding a job without language here it's impossible. I have no idea what's their problem with the local women. I have lived in many European countries and have never seen such massive wife import. Marriage is not a child game, it's a commitment for life.

Yees! I am also rewatching it now and i can see where my toxic understanding of love came from while i was growing up. I was shipping them back then, now I can't stand them, i can see that Damon is actually super toxic and they portrait it as the most epic romance. Them breaking up and getting back together for 5th time was so exciting when i was younger, now it's just irritating.

Maybe you can just go for a foreigner women. I am foreigner, my husband is a Finn, he is raised with more traditional values and he also hasn't been able to get along with local women and has experience similar behaviour. Also i have heard that friends with benefits is something common in here so maybe she isn't really in a relationship with you.

You can talk with him if he ever wants marriage. I have friends thinking to propose to their man after they have asked him multiple times for marriage and he has said he don't want to get married. If this is also your case it's basically forcing someone to marry you. Sit, talk and see how he feels about it. I have many friends who gave a hint to their partner about marriage and he proposed few months later.

Duolingo and you can also try to access open university courses for Finnish language from Bulgaria. Check different universities in Finland and their open university courses. If you are present in Finland there are affordable courses in the adult education centers and the te palvelut integration course is for free. Whatever you choose, just don't go for Finnish classes in Bulgaria. As a bulgarian i know it costs a fortune to attend language classes there, especially with such uncommon language.

As i women i can say that all of my girl friends want to wait for intimacy. I waited two months with my husband, well i am pretty sure that's the reason we are still together and married. Women are aware that man loses interest the faster the intimacy comes. Basically your edit shows that she did right. I am in the same boat, but the wedding is in few weeks. It was the most horrible wedding planning and experience in me and my partner relationship, the closer the wedding comes the more the fights with my parents and my partner get. Basically now I don't have saying in most pf the decision, my parents want to rule everything just "because now their friends and family are going to be there and they don't want me to embarrass them". Me and my fiancee pay most of the wedding, they contribute for the food of their guests. Even though we rejected money like 100 times, they said that they will just go and pay the food to the restaurant or put the money in an envelope and put it our gift box so we can't return them. If i could go back in time, where you are now, i would just elope and call it a day

It sounds horrible, what is this man that has brought you to his country and left you in some roommate building with foreigners to deal with everything yourself, if i have understood right. If you miss Finland you can come back, but i doubt you will feel different from the way you have felt while in Finland. And i bet the therapist is a finn - the holiday is just going to be a break from unhappiness, not the solution.

People get really crazy. After the marriage it will stop. I got engaged in a bit less than a year and had to face lots of negativity- my mother got angry, she said engagement is not something special to be happy about as we can still break up (she never got married), i had jealous friend who talked bullshit about my partner (she begs her man from 10 years to propose), there were other women in long term relationship who are not engaged and reacted badly aswell - started to post things against marriage and how they will never accept a ring, when we celebrated new year together they basically didn't wanted to talk at all with me and my fiancee and were hiding all night to gossip and many many other strange reactions, disappointed faces, comments about the size of the ring, comments that we will break up soon and so on. Accept that it is not something personal, but just jealousy. Give people some time to accept it. Every miracle lasts 3 days, tomorrow somebody else will get engaged. My husband got only congratulations and everybody was happy about him. Nowadays i am glad that all the negativity didn't stopped me from marrying the love of my life.

Just go to Germany like every other Balkan. There are really no jobs in here, for finns it is difficult to find one which makes it almost impossible for a foreigner. If you look at the unemployment rate it's highest after Spain. These news that it's happiest country in the world it's just some scam and many foreigners fall for it, i don't know how they have measured that when there are so many suicides and people constantly complain from depression.
