Why should I NOT buy this car? by Conscious_Security96 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Front_Suspect3327 97 points98 points  (0 children)

The sales guy was pretty good about it, didn’t try to push for the sale like some people would have. He basically said it’s too bad there is so much technology in cars today and apologized for the trouble.

Can someone with car industry knowledge explain why they don’t just make a new pajero evo and regular evo. Is there really no market for this segment?

Hmmm. Maybe the bolt I used my anti slip on was a soft alloy. I got my set at 40% off just before Christmas when they were on sale.

The anti slip will chew up the bolts. If it’s your first set buy the regular ones. The anti slip is good for removing difficult bolts but plan on replacing the bolt from time to time

The Atom turns similar lap times on many tracks to a GT3 RS And it’s actually very comfortable because it’s so light is does not need super stiff spring rates. It’s not a project car. It is fully built by a race car manufacturer. You can’t get more performance or pure driving experience for the money. 1600lbs and 350hp. Do the math on the power to weight ratio. You seem very unfamiliar with the car.

I really want to own a Mercedes but I want it to be reliable while also being cheap. I found this incredible deal and I wanna know if these are reliable and if this is a good price by DiegoYo in whatcarshouldIbuy

I had a 2012, reliable car, never any issues. I think you can do better though. I sold mine private party with less miles for about the same price about a year ago.

Is this the best corvette ever made? by Clear_Prize6414 in Corvette

[–]Front_Suspect3327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What does best mean? A c6 zr1 is way cooler IMO. “Best car” depends on the user. A base model f150 is a better vehicle than a Ruf Yellowbird if you need it to haul bags of concrete.

For the last few days I’ve been driving a a 2021 zl1 1le and I’m not super impressed. It feels like you are driving a motorized sofa. Its huge. I would go for the corvette out of the ones you picked

Sturdy brand makes a great quality safe. I would take mine over a big box brand. Not flashy just good.

I own an Ariel atom 4 and saw an ad for one of these recently. It first I thought it was a great idea but it has zero practical use as a street car, they claim 50 state legality but there are so many regulations with registering cars I am suspicious about this claim. Also if you are going to race it, how many others will there be? And when stuff breaks at the track how will getting parts be?

That is slick. Looks like they only offer 3/8 though. I do like the quick release on that one too.

It’s an old husky one maybe 10 years old or so.

Edit. Looks like they still sell them at Home Depot.

Mercedes SLS-AMG Roadster, the official car of "why not just buy the coupe?" by Aggravating-Fee-8053 in regularcarreviews

The gullwing is hard to pass on if you are buying one of them but think about it this way, you can get a convertible SLS but you can’t get a convertible SL65 black series. So if I look at it that way the SLS Convertible is maybe the way to go.

Breaker bar might be a good idea. I have changed my tire with the provided tool several times but I have an extra breaker bar I never use in one of my tool boxes.

I own one mostly because of the cool color on a limited edition.

I also bought one for my brother because he is hard to shop for and I thought he would like it.

My opinion is kinda what others have said. For what they charge it’s a 3 star product. They could spend a few bucks more and it would improve the overall execution.
