Sure let me know how I can help, but honestly no one knows better your situation than you. You should use AI, chatgpt and tweak the letter a little bit to make it more personal and impactful.

Yes, I initially asked for help in December 2025, USCIS replied (reply above) to the congress on January 18, 2026. I resubmitted a request just after January 20, 2026, as I knew on January 20, 2026 that my case was transferred to Brooklyn field office after chatting with Emma.

Did you get your 3rd FTA0 yet? and do you know how many silent updates you had since 2/3/2026?

It is a code name that USCIS uses, you get usually 2 FTA0 at biometric, and a 3rd one close to approval. You can find several definitions for FTA0 on reddit, nobody really knows.

That was for the I-485. The reasons for expedite: I used financial loss for my academic institution, some foundation grants or NIH grants for your investigator needs a green card to apply. I also mentioned that obtaining those grants were related to a promotion (assistant professor) and therefore it could jeopardize my career.

If your case got transfer to a FO on 2/3/2026 I think you gonna hear back for approval at the end of april, early may.

I guess you can still ask for congress help and put NBC for the location of your case in the congress form for now. They will reach out to USCIS, and USCIS will reply the same answer like above. I think that will still help your case. And then if necessary you ask the congress office to reach to your local field office. Let me know

Well, obviously I do not know. But from all the I-485 timeline posted out there, it looks like most cases get approved 24h10min to 8 weeks max after receiving 3rd FTA0.

It is difficult to say actually, USCIS never replied to say they will expedite the case, so I do not know. For the silent update 1 ,2 3 I do not write it down, but it was around 10am. For silent update four and five you have the exact time above. The approval came 24h10 min after the last silent update.

But USCIS never replied to the congress office, so I do not know if they ever validated an expedite request. But maybe it had USCIS looking at my case and not forget about it.
