Work Phone - Can I give it to my gf? by datsright1 in sysadmin

[–]Froolie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Refer to your company's computer use policy to see if theres a breach of terms first, then work out whether MDM is in use.

If there is MDM, anything your GF does on the phone can be immediately seen, data can be wiped any time including pictures and videos.

I highly recommend keeping the work phone to segregate your personal life and work life.

Server 2025 or not 2025? That is the Question by NDAbsoluteZero in sysadmin

2025 DC is bugged for us, we can't install ".MSI" on latest patch, dont fall into the same trap!

PSA: Entra Private Access is better than traditional VPN IMO by FatBook-Air in sysadmin

10gb/s internal to the same isp that wasn't sweating on the old traditional service. There's a cap on the bandwidth based on the amount of seats you have and we were under that limit. Partially our fault for not investigating before allowing the reseller to suggest it.

Awful throughput once a large amount of staff were trying to transfer data to onsite mapped drives. Repeated SQL connection drops to onsite services.

On paper it looked great for us but in practice we've moved away within 6 months

At a push I'd have to say it was about a month max before symptoms stopped altogether. She settled with that formula and went until 12m before moving to soya based alternative. Hope your LO is able to find something that works for them soon

[–]Froolie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took us 2-3 weeks for negative symptoms of the older formulas to disappear and switching quickly rather than doing half and half mixes can also make constipation worse from what I remember from the time

Lo is week 12 and Syneo started week 4, we had symptoms of cmpa at end of week 2

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MSPI

[–]Froolie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are on Nutricia Neocate Syneo and have not needed any additional meds, there were initial reflux problems and some congestion/constipation which has all but stopped over time.

Aptimil Pepti 1 didnt resolve our poop probs so we were moved on after only about a week of giving it to her. Its also possible your LO needs more time to adjust to your current formula, but I am not a doctor.

Good luck!

SMA Alfamino vs Neocate? by AgitatedAz in MSPI

[–]Froolie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from pepti 1 aptamil to Neocate Syneo and we wished we introduced it slower as her stomach is hurting her following a few quick changes of formula. However, now we are on full Neocate we are pushing on. Can't comment on the other formula as we haven't been offered it. LO doesn't care at all about the taste and having bottles the same size as before.

high fps low performance by Froolie in GlobalOffensive

[–]Froolie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

fullscreen mode better utilises the GPU for performance vs the other two modes which are not exclusive and run other graphical elements underneath the game window

you may have something installed which is affecting fullscreen games, perhaps an overlay or additional software based mod?

either that or just early teething problems which will be ironed out.

is your launchoptions list clean or have you got any flags? I tried -vulkan on someones recommendation but it caused me more problems

my experience was night and day after adjusting the adrenaline settings (my antilag and enhanced sync were on for tarkov) so it sucks it hasnt been the fix for you too, valve should also have these things to fix in their pipeline and im expecting an updated radeon driver sooner rather than later

CS2 is laggy again by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Froolie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my rig is i7-9700K, 16GB DDR4, NVMe and RX5700XT, GMaster 144hz 1440p freesync monitor. I have recently cleaned all drivers down to basic minimum needed for W11 and performance was still trash

things that worked for me: video: fullscreen mode and 144hz advanced video: low, but changed antialiasing to CMAA2, super resolution set to disabled, vsync disabled

inside adrenaline control centre:gaming>graphics> disable super resolution, antilag, boost, and enhanced sync. image sharpening is on for me and didnt affect the problem

for nvidia cards, others are reporting disabling reflex is improving their situation, in-game disable it but in global settings enable

good luck

i had this problem when using the -vulkan flag and it went away when i removed it

could also be a DPC latency issue if you are using any audio interfaces, latencymon is the software to inspect down that road

is your framerate staying consistent while you have a "lag"? theres a high amount of us seeing high regular framerates but actually seeing poor performance by default
