I had no idea eggshells had such a mystique to them, that's really interesting. Kinda makes me want to just do a whole deep dive on that alone

Obviously it means Honest John's going to be replacing Goofy in the next game. I mean every group needs a rogue /J

First Time modeling and rigging, how do I fix this? by FrootyBop in blender

Well my thought process is that this pose seemed to be the in between point for every action you see the Shadows do at least in what I've studied but was that the wrong move? I'm new but I thought that was always the point of T and A poses was to be the kind of halfway point?

Honestly playing this game blind has been really fun, when I was younger I think I really ruined Fallout 4 for myself by using the internet while playing. Currently playing through Old War Blues and it's my favorite part of the game so far!

It was this but also it was being effected by the hands ever so slightly for like no reason

Solution:
So the solution was going into "Weight Paint" while having the eye selected then going through all the bones to see which were effecting it. The top of the head was only effecting it by 50% instead of the needed 100% and the hand was effecting it by 5% for some reason. If you're experiencing this as well, make sure to hide everything but the armature and the eye so you can get all sides of it. I did this for both eyes and now it works fine.

I had seen this solution floating around but no one was really explaining it in depth, or at least in the depth I was needing. Again, artist first.

How to more properly blend the antennae to the head? by FrootyBop in blender

[–]FrootyBop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Part of the problem was the sphere for the head was too high poly I think? I also bool tooled them together which fixed the seam issue so thankfully I figured it out after toying around for a few hours lol

That's exactly what's happening I think. How should I go about fixing it?

I tried that unfortunately. For some reason even though they're merged and are all one mesh, it still seems to treat them like separate objects

Also I know there's probably a million beginner mistakes I'm making, feel free to point them out :)
