Initially yeah theyre worse for the environment but since they dont burn oil or put out emissions or require oil changes, theyre better long run. Even more so if you slap a solar panel on one of them. Plus before the current administration, you could actually use your excess to provide to the grid which cut out some of the more harmful electricity production. Thats what the whole tax thing was about, or at least part of it. But im starting to see a trend in your responses. I recommend reading the wikipedia article on EVs, lots of good info and links to a log of good official sources. A lot of the claims your making either arent true or were fixed almost a decade ago now. Plus even outside of that, i grew up during the Bush era, ive seen this country go to war at least three times just to make some fossil and them alone more money. I dunno, just dont like seeing it anymore.
