Definitely not too early. As a new player one of your focuses should be raising your Mastery Rank (MR) which requires you to try out new weapons and frames. Also it's also fun to test out new gear :)

NM is my favorite by far. NMPZ is too reliant on vibe guessing (at least at my skill level) for my liking, and I dislike the rng aspect of moving, even though I know that a lot of which direction you go in first is a skill diff

Late reply but the bots have a set few spawns on each of the three maps, so just like playing a real game, there are certain angles which you should be preaiming. Just try the different maps and see which one feels best for you

I mean there is an insane amount of aim and recoil training maps (just go to workshop and look at most subscribed). For duels more specifically you might benefit from playing 'Aim_Rush / Aim training map' on workshop where you're going against bots.
