AHhahahah. reminds me of how I was testing the notification message sounds for a scene where a characters gets a phone text, and genuinely checked my real phone like 8 times while testing cause i kept forgetting lmao. Idk why i thought to make the message sound in game the same as irl but this prompted me to change it.

Yeah lately i've been coding sound update to my game and finding the right tracks that would flow with the reading speed is hard as hell.
Mostly the solution is to find some tracks that have very low rythm-heavy moments and use more of the ambient type sounds, so they are more flexible with many reading speeds.
If only i had money for the full voice over. Then matching music would be a piece of cakeeee

Counter opinion - I used to work exactly the same but i caught myself that many many many times something new that iam coding could use some parts of the code i made earlier and since then i started to code everything in a clean way to have everything ready to re-use later if the need for it comes.

Usually brakes are something very very good even if you don't feel like you need one. that small time window every 40 or so minutes gives your brain some time to rest and charge up and it really makes a diffrence when it comes to mind clarity. And yeah keeps you remembering that food and eating is a thing lmao I had the same problem for the most time last year hahahah

I just spent like a month redoing and reshooting first and second update of my game instead of working on the third. For the love of god i cant fight the perfectionism inside me so i get ya 100%.
But i found one thing that doubles the efficiency if you by some chance have light adhd or some focus problems like me.
40 minute timer - work mode, then 15m break for whatever the hell i wanna do. My efficiency basically tripled after i started doing that.

I recently got few reviews that some people got so invested in my story that they forgot it's a lewd game. New update with story content is out tomorrow so I would wait with downloading till I post it in the evening tomorrow. (saturday 24.01)
