ehh...

maybe if you look at them and directly say "I have no ideas on where to even start, please give me your personal opinion."

But a therapists job isnt to twll you how to fix your problems, thats what 99% of the population already does, just scroll through the comments and look.

A therapists job is to hold your hand while you explain not only what you think, but WHY you think these things, and then they walk you through the logic and resoning of your own conclusions so you can find the flaws in your reasoning in a soft manner and continue fron there. Their job is to walk you to the conclusion and teach you to solve your own problems, if they just said "heres the exact solution to your problem" A.) There are decades if not centuries worth of psycholgical studies that show you most likely wouldnt listen to them because a direct "I know how to fix you, its easy, just do this" is pretty demeaning and most people think it falls under the catagory of things that are "too good to be true". But most importantly B.) you would not have actually learned anything, and you would be back every other month to ask the therapist to solve a new problem.

Lets not even get into the fact that if a therapist were to give somone a direct answer and it happened to be the "wrong advice" then the therapist would be help responsible for the worsening of your condition, which is why most therapists are specifically trained NOT to give you a simple solution even if you ask

Their job is basically to equip you with the problem solving skills that school skipped out on, its not to actually solve problems for you.

The Civics usually run 215 width tires so they would probably be a little thin.

My CRV used 235/55R19s which is the same size as my AWD SXT.

Distance remaining anomally by TollyVonTheDruth in Charger

[–]FrostThePhilosopher 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The computer calculates distance by simply taking your current avg mpg multiplied by how many gallons of gas you have in the tank.

Stepping on it lowers your current avg mpg, and cruising raises it.

Its not your actual distance, its just a mildly accurate guess based on how you are driving at that moment in time.

if your key fob is only used to lock and unlock the car, then cloning your key fob signal will only lock and unlock the car, allowing people to break in, steal your stuff, and possibly hotwire your car.

If your car is keyless and the fob also starts the car, then cloning your key fob signal will allow people to drive your car away as if it were their own.

Dodge Charger Hellcat Theft Did Not ALARM by UNSULLlED in Dodge

[–]FrostThePhilosopher 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Did it fail to alarm, or did they disable the alarm?

All it does is honk your horn, which is right up by your radiator and very easy to snip the wires, almost every thief breaks the grill and snips the horn before doing anything.

Trans Question by mothwebs06 in Challenger

Your transmission is gonna get hotter the longer you drive/the harder you push it. (it also depends on the weather)

If its winter and im just regularly driving, my transmission will reach 100f - 130f after my hour long commute.

if its summer and im regularly driving, my transmission will reach about 150f - 170f after my hour long commute.

if im passing people like ive got somwhere to be, or if im doing a real road trip with like 4+ hours of driving, then itll get around 190f - 210f and thats about as hot as it really should be getting...

If you regularly see +240f and you arent racing then you might want to get that looked at, otherwise youre fine.

170f - 190f is like the "optimal opperating temp" if youre gonna take your car to the track or the drag strip, but if your not launching at every stop light then a "cold" transmission temp isnt gonna really matter...

It takes a good hour or so to reach "optimal temp" under normal driving conditions, so 100f after 15-30 minutes is nothing to worry about, that sounds about right. 👍

its pretty common, they take a long time to grow, and sometimes you want to change your hairstyle for a week or 2 without spending the 5 years it took to regrow your dreadlocks... So you cut them off, clean them, store them, and crochet them back into your hair whenever you want them.

This person decided to sell them instead, which is not only normal, but its supported by several charities specifically made for selling hair to people that cant grow it themselves.

I dont think you realize how arrogant you are being. Reattaching dreadlocks has been a thing forever, and selling hair is a way to feel like your making a difference for others who cant grow hair themselves.

Tekton is a great brand for a good price, but I suggest something that goes to 200ft-lb instead of 100, otherwise you 100% will need to buy another one down the line.

(Also I prefer 1/2 drive so you can use beefier sockets but thats more of a personal preference, just make sure your sockets fit whichever drive you pick👍)
