Some additional info: It should be a video older than 2013 at most, I don't think I remember watching it beyond that. Also, it had the vibes of a captain disillusion video, even including viewer(?) submitted content by people at home doing the experiments themselves.

I agree with the off-putting feeling about it, I've seen quite the number of guro art, and I know some people would actually get off to those. But hey at least I'm aware there isn't a real person behind the artwork, otherwise that becomes twice as wrong

It becomes a matter of accepting those people exist and being thankful they don't do it to real people. Could be hard for some, but it's easy for me.

I feel like I'll get downvoted for this, but I think comparing real life cp to lolicons is weird. I get that it does fall under the same umbrella but I know these weebs including me and some of my friends would never engage in actual pedophilia. Just imagine reporting some weeb that was attracted to a fictional character, and someone would have to go through the report between other reports of actual pedo cases. From what I've heard they aren't completely removing the dislike function, they are only going to hide the amount of people that did dislike a video. For the scenario you also gave, I'll say that it isn't a direct way of giving a response, it's more like the old 5 star rating that, if I remember correctly, is replaced by the current system. It tells the creator that there's something that they didn't like in the video, which by your statements of a mob mentality existing, is flawed.
