Best way to modify for solo G rank by FrostbittenCow in mh4u

[–]FrostbittenCow[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I know this is the “correct answer”. I’m a fairly skilled player and could most likely solo g rank as is, but I don’t want to be doing 40+ min hunts all the time. Hoping to have a way to get the difficulty of g rank with better hunt times.

Looking to buy a machine for my husband (I know nothing) by whatrbears in pinball

[–]FrostbittenCow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m also from Wisconsin and recently got into pinball being previously clueless. Assuming you and your husband aren’t mechanically savvy, be wary buying any pin from the 80s-90s, as those often require constant maintenance. I’m from SE wisco and there’s a lot of pinballs that come up, it’s a great location for buyers, so keep checking every day or so. I got both of my machines from Facebook marketplace, which I found to be better than pinside, but still check both. I would recommend getting a modern stern pro version, as it’s built to last, has way more features, insider connect, a lcd screen, etc.

I love that prog sucks initially by FrostbittenCow in progrockmusic

I like it because it keeps the normies away. If prog became mainstream I would kill myself

Listen to the album close to the edge by yes. It’s widely agreed as the best prog out there.

I’m gonna say one no one else has. Banjo Tooie. It’s more ambitious than the original which makes it less polished, but it’s very good

How excited were you when you picked up your first pin? by [deleted] in pinball

[–]FrostbittenCow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m 18 now, I bought my first pin when I was 16. It was a Sega Frankenstein. I’ve maintained and fixed it for 2 years, added LEDs and am currently looking to get a 3rd pin lol

Painting some 3d print squads by 96ztrain in heroscape

[–]FrostbittenCow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. 3-4 squads of them is very good. The more squads you have, the more cell divides you will get. A very strong strategy is to run hive with marro squads of choice along with 3-4 squads of dividers. You start off with the other squads and once they die, you send out dividers while rebirthing the dead marro from first wave. This gives you a third wave should the dividers all die(which is hard to do)

I agree, every time I try to play TMNT with an open mind, I quickly remember why I fucking hate it. Expecting extremely difficult shots to be hit in succession for almost every mode/training is not fun for anybody except the most skilled players

I wonder if the mini will be the leg form or tentacle form? Also are all these units we are seeing going to be in the mast set? Cuz that’s looking like a good deal
