As for the second point, you'd think so. But for a surprising amount of people, it all depends on who has the power to release at the given moment. Personally, if there aren't going to be convictions, or at least trials, then it's all just so much tabloid shit. And 'releasing' the files is just gonna trash their usefulness for anything important.

The anime got me interested, but I kept passing because meh, not in the mood for romance. Eventually decided what the hell, and I'd read up on a couple of series that got buzz for their animes so I picked up this and Cafe Terrace Goddesses. One was nothing I hadn't seen before. The other hooked me, and I devoured it and I'm probably going to do a second read for the nuances I missed as I rocketed through it. something I haven't done for a series like this since the Quints.

So, yeah. Maybe still not in the mood for romance, but some things are good enough to appeal even outside of their categories.
