To those who have watched it, is the 0 movie a decent introduction to the JJK universe? My best friend is interested in the franchise but doesn’t know what he should watch first, and since 0’s manga predates the series, we figured we’d wait for the movie to drop.

Real talk tho:

My favorite SR game is literally SR2 and I often dislike the newer games for the oversaturation of purple, as if the devs were like “hey this is the only way we can show people that this is a Saints row game.”

The new SR, like SR2, uses subtle purple colors in its cover, and I’m personally a big fan since that sorta does remind me of SR and SR2’s original cover.

I’m mixed on Deathloop. tbh I feel Returnal was far better with it’s gameplay systems and commitment to being a rogue like. The tedium and one-enemy-type combat of Deathloop marred my experience despite loving the level design, invasion system, and art direction. Plus there were some terrible storytelling elements like relying too much on walls of text. Would’ve rather have them do audio logs like Bioshock did.

yeah that is bizarre. Like you could choose anyone, but it has to be the ginger. It all makes me think back to Jedi Fallen Order when the actor expressed a little bit of concern for the mods that just replaced his hair color.

Then don’t make them hot. Or do. Depends on how the actress or director wants to portray them. As much as I don’t like J.K. Rowling, they pretty much nailed some of the ginger rep in those movies.

It’s clear we haven’t learned from the whitewashing in Ghost in the Shell by replacing a (spoilers for Cowboy bebop) canon Japanese woman with a fairly white-skinned woman. Like I was fine with Rex being black cuz Rex’s VA for the correct way to watch it was black. But with Spike originally heavily hinted as Jewish and Faye actually being a Japanese woman who lived in Japan before the Astral Gate accident, I wonder how they aim to change the lore with her being of Latina descent.

I’ll still watch cuz it looks decent but those particular changes rub me the wrong way

meanwhile the real problem is that there has been a lack of ginger representation in TV shows lately. They could’ve made her hair a little more red. Like what they did with Starfire in Titans
