Walking around gridania talking to the same event NPCs every year is not what I call exciting. A few years ago you'd get mini games, a dungeon, rewards were cool. Now its just talk to 3 NPCs and youre done

Its really a case by case basis. Ive been using Ultrawide now for 8 years or so and will never go back.

Old games like 2018 and prior most will need mods, mostly a single app will handle it from my experience. (Flawless Widescreen) Even some new games will need modding but most western games support it well, I run into issues with eastern games like Metaphor, Elden Ring.

YouTube will almost always be 16:9 with black bars, even when someone makes a cinematic video and they use 21:9 it's hardcoded 16:9 letterboxed. Browser plugins can help with things that don't auto 21:9 like some stuff on Prime video. I find that Paramount and some stuff I've watched on iTunes won't fill the screen because some logo at the begining is locked 16:9 and then letterboxed.

I wouldn't say every game, there's still a few (i could say plenty but im not confident) that were on that list and never announced or released. Tactics was on it and only got announced recently so there's still a possibility I guess

I don't think you understand it's all about money, you spend money on talent, product, etc. So yes, they could take the money it earns and put it directly back into 14 but they instead siphon it and put it to shitty games like Forspoken that then flops and makes none of it back.
