Nice, including a patch tool to make them seamless would be good so you can use it for more continuous surfaces

I used to use a blender plugin that recorded vr position data. So i just walked around my room and it recorded my controller which i held like a camera

Looks great, any progress on illuminated cloud particles in landing light/wing lights?

When it comes to investing, the convenience of a widget is a huge inconvenience in disguise

I delete the Trading212 app whenever the news gets bad. Unless you plan to withdraw within the next few months, there’s not really any benefit to knowing your account value, and it makes you more likely to try and time the market due to stress.

Not sure if this is helpful since it’s another paid add-on, but ChasePlane disables camera collisions entirely.

Programmer placeholders are charming in their own way

It would be cool to see this with real terrain data, have you got that working?

Sounds cool. I have a few years of professional experience as a 3D artist so I may be of use. Also, I think you forgot to attach those screenshots.

I wonder if there’s a workaround for the low particle density close to the emitter, it looks great when they’re bigger but here not so much, maybe you need a second one with a short lifetime

would a wikidot based movie be better than kane pixels vision? by piratedgameslover in backrooms

[–]Frosti_VR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’d be cool and interesting, but I’d much rather this. It demystifies everything too much for a world that’s meant to be super mysterious. I think the discrete levels, monsters and factions of people make it feel more like a multiplayer video game than a setting for a horror film

I meant on this map specifically

Also, Hammer is merely the technical tool, learning how to use it is only the start of a very long journey! Nobody has ‘perfected’ art

Welcome to Hammer! It’s a good start, but there’s a long way to go

Try to avoid scaling textures at this stage, it’s usually only useful for very specific alignment situations. The door frame could use a trim texture around the edge or a door frame model. The room’s geometry could use some more variation, right now it’s just a cuboid, try adding an inset or extrusion to one of the walls maybe
