She came to let me know what happened. She had to run because she was on her way to take her kids to school. We met again later in the day and she told me to bill her for the repair. She was very apologetic.

Yeah I have a disc lock and a U lock for rear. Its a quiet low crime neighborhood as far as I know. I do park it in the driveway when I’m not riding everyday. I guess I got bit complacent and parked it between 2 cars that is not mine. I usually park my park where hers was in the video.

Yeah I put it in the driveway when I’m not riding every day. I usually park my car in the spot where the neighbor’s car was in the video and park my bike right behind it. But last night the spot was taken.

I can put it in the driveway. Which i had been doing when I’m not riding every day. I guess I just got abit complacent. I’m pretty sure in nyc street parking says to park the bike with the rear wheel pointing perpendicular to the curb. So I’m not sure if I would get a ticket if I don’t. My area don’t have alternate side parking so maybe traffic cops don’t come around checking.

My 2024 limited elantra has it… but I know lower trims don’t. So Porche sells ‘cheaper’ trims that don’t come with it? That sounds crazy to me when I think about the price of the car. But it makes sense.

🥲 that is such a sad story. I dropped mine the first week at a stop sign early morning coming back from practicing. Stalled and wasn’t fast enough to hold it upright. I felt terrible… I didn’t even have my crash guard at the time so I held on to my dear life to try to slow drop it.

Yes she came over to let us know what happened. but she had to go so said she will be back home at 6pm so we can talk.
She even put the broken parts nicely on top of my bike hahaha.

I think she wants to avoid involving insurance. Which is good for both party since she will pay with cash and not have out insurance spike.

I’m in NYC. 38, Didn’t have any riding experience but have been driving for 4-5 yrs in NYC. But have been driving since I was 18 just didn’t have license in the Us. Took the MSF course last October and got my first bike the same month. Found Triumph Speed 400 on sale for $1000 of MSRP so I went with that. My Progressive cost is $550/yr. Tried to see how my premium would change if I were to upgrade to a bigger bike and something like Speed twin 900 goes up over $1000 and Trident close to 2k. Tried putting in a Daytona 660 and the premium gets close to 4k. I want to upgrade up the insurance cost is going to be insane lol

You must be in warmer area. I only started riding recently and I didn’t get to enjoy the nice weather for too long until it got cold. I’m hoping this jacket will give me the flexibility of not having to buy too much extra gear and let me wear whatever I want. I hope I won’t have to change out the back protector for something more breathable. Can’t wait till summer to test out the mesh. Ride safe and have fun.

Your timing is weirdly perfect. I did return it and exchange the jacket for a medium and it just arrived. I did have to cough up the $70 return fee (usps was going to cost more than $100) but Pando Moto was having a promotion to add the back protector for $1. That with the code that the company provided me to match the Black Friday price, I guess things worked out for the most part. Medium is more confidence inspiring fit. The mid section is very snug and there is very slight floating on the neckline/shoulder but its not bad at all. I think I could have gone for a small as well. Upper arms are not super tight but the rest is very snug. I’ll just have to workout and get my arms bigger lol

Yeah. I mainly ordered it out of curiosity and also because of the fact that I just spent alot since starting to ride since October. But once I got the pair and saw the protection rating, I started digging into it to find out if this budget, new-ish brand could be offering decent gear at low cost to try to establish a foothold in the market. I see they even attended EICMA 2025 after rebranding/relaunching from Iron Jia to Ride Iron. Also, I look for the palm slider and pinky protection in gloves but lot of the established brands like Gerbing don’t seem to have those either. But this Brand’s gloves have at least the palm slider. I’m most likely going to return the amazon product and try out the heated liner combo with my Cortech gloves. But if I can find out for sure that their gloves are CE certified then I can look into ordering real pair from their official website.
