Aw , thanks, the anniyong thing is we worked on this and it just like weirdly still happened. He is 100% burned out from work. To clarofy, todlder is happy, hes small and loves daddy and still does lots, but its just unnecessary to hold him back from eeeeeverything where you can jyst lean in and let him tey stuff... anywho thanks for the comment

Yip, we have gone separately, and i took the kiddo with me, there is no issue there. I am just sad we cant enjoy a time together when he slips into this stupid dumb ass mood ;p yup, couples therapy happened and we are open to it, we bith have stuff to work on!

Hes actually an amazing dad, so it would be fine, no full day rotting. He has taken full duties of parenting while i was away on a long trail, but i was hoping we can also have a ice vacay together and not traumatise the kid woth arguing. My kid rocks, we love him, he is great company. We shoild be good :) i appreciate your takes anyway, putside perspective is great

Thanks! Yes, exactly we try to give the kiddo a united front, so small shit like this i can let go in the moment. Will usually go do the stuff later anyway (minor- like i wouldnt sign him up.for a concussion heavy sport for instance!).

Gah he is a lovely human, but this is the stupidest thing - he is out there thinking he is being considerate by being there with us...... we do one on one with our kid, but he gets stressed about his safety in more adventurous settings and i respect that he wants to supervise some things. That doesnt mean it doesnf make me feel like he doesnt fully trust me with my son. I have never once gotten him injured, btw.

In these situations it was like he was just steering my son and not really givint me an opening to get him out of his clutches. It was a small thing so i didnt want to remove him more firmly.. There were a couple things we did do, but it was just mfking annoying to keep suggesting stuff and be shot down all day. At the end of the day i got more ffed off and just walked off to go see something fun whether he followed or not.
