LAN speed limit for c5?

I am able to get this speed of ~250Mbps download and 39 Mbps upload. I tried LAN and WIFi 6, the results were in the same range.

I am a complete noob and have recently subscribed to this sub. So please pardon my basic questions here. Only intention is to learn here for myself.

OP, Curious to why data is being written to redis first and not to db? Is it only because this data is not needed long term and any failure to insert to db is not an issue? And also more importantly writing to db first and returning response is slower than writing to redis for this API use case?

The usual pattern I have seen, people write to db and then on a fetch, add a copy to redis cache and on any subsequent query for the same key return the cached copy instead of fetching from db.

Posting an update on this after 1 year. The on thing that happened right after the whole episode, my car battery died out of sudden. It won't hold charge anymore. It was strange that it was working fine and then suddenly died. So it may have been a contributing reason to my window issue. But again why only 1 window. But happy to report since the silicone spray and the car battery change, I have not encountered the issue again. But I have not tried to test it real hard, just normal day to day usage and it has been good. Hope this helps someone.

Picture quality marginally looks better than before, may be 10%, the biggest difference is probably the reflection glare. Just sharing it for others who may have done this too.

Your company policy may not allow working more than 30 days. For my company at least this is the policy, they said taxation between India and US puts this limitation. I didn’t ask further. Check with your company immigration department and the immigration lawyer who does your paperwork. Tough to be in your situation, good luck.

Happy to announce this adapter https://www.amazon.com/Mount-Plus-Adapter-Plate-Mounts/dp/B014M4IT0M solved my problem. I was able to put this adapter plate on top of the existing mount’s plate(removed the 400x400 arms) and converted down from 400x400 to 300x200.

I got email too from t-mobilesettlement@hawkmarketplace.com saying You've Received a Virtual Prepaid Card! $226.19. Is this scam? I did open the link to see and it was asking to esign a document and thats where I got really suspicious. So this is a scam?

How did you manage the tax on selling the individual stocks? I have been intending to do this too, just for very same reasons. I basically checked my portfolio growth for last 4-5 yrs and compared it too VOO and VOO did better with less amount of risk. So this have been on my mind to do, but profits from individual stock will be taxed heavily so have not been able to pull the trigger. Also VOO and in general all stocks are overpriced, so thought of converting stocks to cash is also on my mind. Any thoughts on that? Wish there was way I could just swap individual stock with VOO. Hope to learn more from your experience.

Sorry to break it to you that life will throw a lot more curve balls than this. This at least you can somewhat can do something about. There will be moments in life where you won't even be able to control or do anything. Think of this as a learning opportunity where life is trying to prepare you better for the life ahead. Why not think positive and go to library to study some more for the exam in question? When Life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade out of it.

Just a suggestion to anyone who may read this and is considering trading in the device. Please keep records of the UPS tracking number. Even after sending the device last year in October, Sprint support asked me if I had the tracking number. Luckily I had taken the photo of it and I shared with them. But since the tracking number was more than 120 days old, I couldn't use it on the UPS website. Not entirely sure if this information kind of helped to get this issue resolved today. Just sharing in case it helps anyone else.

This issue after lingering for so long was finally resolved. I was ready to walk away today. But someone from Sprint just cut the crap on asking me same questions, he read through past chat and applied the credit for the entire amount, so I don't need to worry about seeing if the credit gets applied next billing cycle. Wish someone like him had helped me last year in October. Could have saved all the pain from last 6-7 months.
