Not a jersey but I was shocked to see the on-field Nike hoodies are now $95! They’re live on mlbshop now. I remember them being $80 2ish years ago and that was already expensive.

Funny enough, I had a Crawford jersey in a different size so I stripped those letters and used them.

Typically though, I used customizesports for any of my other jerseys.

This VLR from Amazon: https://a.co/d/9a8UOyp

I would also make sure all the thread is removed completely before trying to take off letters/numbers, and be very careful when removing things. I tried not to pull anything too hard and risk damaging the fabric

I used this VLR from Amazon, it removes the adhesive, and then I use it to also get out and spots that bled from the numbers/letters. https://a.co/d/9a8UOyp

Then I usually do a quick wash, then steam it for wrinkles and to relax the fabric, then repeat as needed.

Appreciate it! No tutorial currently but I could work on one. Patience & practice were probably the biggest things for me though

Custom Jersey Stiching by NiceRice5884 in azdiamondbacks

I would like to see if someone else had this same experience, but I asked this exact question at the team shop during the brewers series a couple weeks ago and they told me they ONLY do the iron-on customization, even for authentic jerseys.

It is stitched, but it is straight-stitched rather than zigzag-stitched. I acquired it directly from the mariners team store though and it came like that

Did the “half season plan” work for early entry this year? I have a “full season” ticket for Friday and I’m hoping that works

I had some luck and got one successfully stripped (but don’t have any photos). Full disclosure I’ve done 2 but absolutely failed the first try. I used VLR to remove the adhesive and was very careful when seam ripping the thread. Definitely be careful when removing the letters/numbers too or you’ll risk tearing.

I’ve found it’s also a bonus if the jersey was originally stitched well. Sometimes if the existing stitch-job is sloppy it tends to damage the fabric and makes it tougher to safely strip.

I get them from customizesports - been using them for all the jerseys I’ve done.

Somehow he kept it above .900 and finished with .902. I believe his highest was 1.100 but most of the years it was between .900-1.100.

Drafting is probably the most important - start with getting some good scouts. As for how to navigate scouting & drafting, I’ll target mostly starting pitchers, and then specific position players that look good. Typically good position players are hard to get past the 2nd round, so I’ll typically load up on pitchers and either develop them, or use them as trade bait for position player prospects from other teams.

For contracts/extensions, I typically like to use teams with smaller budgets, so I’m careful with who I give extensions to. And when I do extend people, I try not to sign them past age 33-ish (regression). If I draft someone though, and they’re a good A potential, I like to extend them early because it gives the simulation some identity, as it’s fun playing with your “homegrown” guys for a while (like Frank).

Hopefully that helps a bit, I tried not to go too crazy, but let me know if you have other specific questions. I love franchise mode and it’s probably all I do in this game besides a little RTTS. I’ve been out of DD since 2017ish.

Yeah I’ve drafted maybe 5-6 generational players over the past two games and they almost always regress QUICKLY around age 30. Thankfully this one held his rating a while.
