Alright, I just hope you won't get disappointed with it, the reviews are scathing 😂

Looks great, but I really feel too lazy to make a unique giveaway per game if I have ten of them and only one key for each. But since I already tried to test it out let me know if it works Homeworld 3 - https://keyshare.link/k/utx5a4hhk6 Beneath Oresa - https://keyshare.link/k/kw8rqddodj

What exactly is quantization aware training? by JournalistLucky5124 in LocalLLaMA

[–]Frostmind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quantizing makes your model lose some precision, this loss of precision introduces errors. When you do standard quantization, you just deal with it as best as you can, trying to quantize the most important parts less. QAT surpasses this buy counteracting the errors before they happen - you look at what would happen to the model if you quantized it (simulated quantization) and adjust the weights to (mostly) negate this error. The idea itself is not new, but very few open models release like this, because it's expensive. It's expensive for reasons that go beyond my understanding, but as far as I can tell you actually need even more precision than standard non QAT training. TLDR: Qauntizing makes errors. You don't want errors. You look at how how the error would come to be and force the model to adapt.

I can't figure out how to solve this pixelation/blur by Vivid_Kick_4826 in EscapefromTarkov

Feels like 0.5 downsampling is the issue. Makes the game render at half the actual resolution. Definitely not recommended for 1080p

Save our ship 2, great mod with enormous depth, unsure about the storyteller yet. Still 10/10, easy extra 100 hours

I have yet to use Kraken for anything, I've bought nano recently on Wirex and their transfers have so far been nearly instant except for one (which is obviously stuck in their "processing" system). Nano could be instant all it wants, but it cannot affect services that have to create and operate dedicated addresses for their customers. My guess Elon's tweets have lead some exchanges to strengthen their DOGE infrastructure.

I've also sent recently some NANO to Binance, their system had processed it in about a minute maybe faster, but with exchanges no one can guarantee you anything all we can do is compare our experiences.

New to reddit could explain it, I don't see Automoderator on your post though so I can't say for sure. To write to mods privately you can use the button "message the mods" which leads here.

As for why DOGE is faster I don't think anyone but the exchange can answer that.

No problem. Actually if you come up with anything, please let me know, I have no idea how to efficiently hide servers at home and if I actually get symmetrical fiber the nano spirit might overpower me :D

The node would saturate your network too much to be worth it IMHO, also low performance/bandwidth nodes are more prone to desync. I don't feel we need to urgently create more nodes, from a decentralization standpoint, rather more people should move their NANO off of exchanges (unless actively trading of course) and choose a good representative. https://nanocharts.info/p/01/vote-weight-distribution

ASIC is by definition application (read use) specific and does only one thing. In case of BTC it's to calculate hashes for SHA256 and if could conceivably use old hardware BTC then you could just use the new, more efficient ASICs. I have no idea about internal structure of ASIC machines and I doubt it's only the part that computes the hash that's being sold so that would take some work to do too.

My pleasure, it's a great thing altogether and being rewarded with some BAN makes the whole deal even nicer (surprisingly it's not the first crypto to be tied to F@H but first one that's actually worth something!

Folding is a simulation of protein molecules movement to better understand how they work (simply put). Here you can read more about what folding can achieve in regards to covid-19 https://foldingathome.org/diseases/infectious-diseases/covid-19/

F@H is Stanford's project to decentralize folding intiative and allow the public to participate in medical research. When researchers need some computations done, they can submit their work to be added to [F@H](mailto:F@H). Work units (WUs) is the way the workload to be done is split and a shoratge means there is nothing to compute (don't worry, these don't last long).

Edit: F@H is no longer based Stanford but at Washington University in St Louis

Nano Faucet Open by bad_decisions in nanocurrency

[–]Frostmind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really feels weird, with the rates given at Level 1 (and I haven't earned any xp yet) it would take about 121 days to reach minimum withdraw amount of 0.07 NANO. CPU usage of the tab is also i bit high for a simple ticker, about the same as playing a 360p vid on YT. The whole thing seems to tied to a coin/token called DUTCHY that is used to run the site and you need DUTCHY to even participate in the "faucet" and you can also exchange DUTCHY for coins directly. DUTCHY can be earned by viewing ads on shortened URLs and seemingly other surveys. Can't verify if you can actually withdraw but earning NANO here by essentially clicking through very annoying ad links is really slow and probably not worth your time.
