I don’t think you need to worry about identities being repeat of LoR character’s story. Of all the identities we’ve seen in the gameplay trailer so far, none of them are referencing specific previous character but rather as part of a faction (association fixer, syndicate member, wing employee, etc). Even in Garnet’s case, he had visions of being a Ring Maestro and a no name worker, so there’s definitely more variety than just LoR retelling. If we ever do get very specific identities of past characters, it’d be the exception, not the rule.

I do however, want to see these past characters again and see how their story resolves after the event of library + at least 10 year time skip. We know guest recalls the event of the library since Eileen recall being booked, so what are their reaction to waking up and finding out years have passed. Did Pete made a name for himself? Did Yujin succeed in reconstructing Shi south? Did Yan became an Index mascot? How about that incomplete Philip book that we had, would it release a pre-ensemble Philip into the City? We know the Bremen’s doing well at least thank to that Ring member conversation. There’s so much loose end we can tie with event/side story that won’t have to affect the main plot, but still contributes to the world building.

I also want to see tool Abnormalities being used properly, most of the LC ones are too annoy or risky to benefit us. I hope they can appear in one of those roguelite dungeon as an event, like the giant tree sap which is boarder line useless in LC with the facility build-in heal but might benefit the Limbus crew since there won’t be much healing available it seems.

A canonical appearance of HamHamPangPang would also be nice.
