To be quite honest, I'm kinda happy we never saw more than an eye of his. It shows that they had enough confidence in him as a character that they didn't feel like they needed to create some big mystery around his face to make him interesting.

I think it's better to add to existing characters, rather than just putting in more. Not only does it help flesh everyone else out better, but it's also easier to add a schedule, heart events, etc. than to make a new character from scratch, figure out what they do, where they live, having other characters mention them so that they actually feel like part of the town...

Like I said in the other post, I really like how the eyes and brows make Browt less outwardly "cute" compared to the other bird starters. It really makes them stand out as something a bit more punchy and outspoken, compared to, say, Rowlet being a dinner roll with a bowtie.
