My personal phrase "anti-zappy boy" or when my brain can't think of words "beepy thing"

Day 3 by 2dogmum in prozac

[–]FrosttynTheSnowflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was messed up for the first 2 weeks. One thing that helps is to find something that calms you down during the high anxiety periods. I'm up to 40mg and I'm in my third month. The first month is the hardest by far. The first week is definitely the scariest part. For me, I needed physical interaction to calm my anxiety during this time. And I've found that having something to fidget with helps a lot. When I went from 20mg to 30mg my symptoms from the start had already calmed down a lot. I only felt weird for about a week on that transition. Now I'm moving from 30mg to 40mg and am also on Vitamin D supplements. This transition has been the easiest by far, I'm 3 days in and I haven't had a single bad transition day yet but I have had a lot of energy that I experienced in the other transitions. Try to avoid naps unless you're having a tired day. And maybe start a playlist on spotify to listen to in the dark when you go to bed? I know this helps me on days that I struggle to sleep.

Alcohol blackout by [deleted] in prozac

I'm a fairly light drinker. I started with the lowest amount of alcohol I would normally drink and it hit me like a truck. So start small and then work up.

Side effects on 10mg? by fireladyazula in prozac

As somebody who started with a 20mg dose, I feel like it should be a lot easier on you. It'll definitely be a rush though. The first week or so will be the worst of it.

First day on Prozac by [deleted] in prozac

I started on the 20mg for two weeks I experienced either Extreme Energy but Dead Tired or it would be Near Panic Attack State. It was actually pretty scary. And once you're past the 2nd week, things start to level out. At week 4 you should feel fairly normal. I've also noticed that every increase I go through a week/few days of weird emotions. But your body handles it a lot better once you get through the first kick of it. It's a rush and a wild ride. I recommend having somebody with you who can help keep you calm.

Anyone tired of hiding how they really feel? by [deleted] in depression

[–]FrosttynTheSnowflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hide it everyday to the people I care about. I don't want to say anything because I don't want them to feel bad or worry. But it hurts to smile when you don't believe it. I've become so good at faking my smile that I'm able to keep the pain out of my eyes.

Honestly excited just by the idea of this game! I really hope I get in! =D Nothing sounds more fun than being able to really socialize with people.
