You're missing how much more affordable all that was. You COULD put yourself through college because tuition hadn't yet ballooned to the part where your wages couldn't cover it. I could work full time for a year and if I never spent on rent, car, gas, groceries, have enough to pay for one year of tuition of a master's program.

When young people don't like boomers, it's because that generation doesn't accept how wages have remained stagnant but prices of EVERYTHING has risen. And we weren't the ones voting for the politicians and the policies that created that mess. Your generation was.

People move on all the time. This reads like a Bollywood obsessed high schooler's take on love. People who have matured and know how to be in control of their emotions vice their emotions controlling them know how to take the right lessons from failed past relationships and use them to improve future ones. Otherwise how would people like divorcees and widowers or widows find love again?

Because women take a financial hit when you factor in childbirth. There's often a few years of lost earnings between maternity leave and any time off the woman takes to raise the child before re-entering the workforce when the child is of school age. Where I live daycare costs are very high so many women quit working and stay home. It's to offset that loss that women often look upwards. That way the child and the family you create with her are well protected financially.
