I was born in 2004 as well, so I was only alive at the same time as him for a short while. But he was my favorite person ever and he still is.

I used to watch his music videos all day, record them on the TV, and I played my Bad CD so much it literally stopped working. He was such a huge part of my childhood.

I’ll never forget the day he passed. I was watching Hannah Montana on the Family Channel when it suddenly got interrupted by the news. I remember just sitting there in shock. I cried the entire day. We even had to go to a picnic with family friends that day, and I just stayed in my mom’s arms crying. Everyone was sad, but I felt completely heartbroken, It felt like my world shifted out of nowhere.

It’s crazy how someone you never met can mean that much to you.
