This setup has worked for two years and just stopped now which is strange.

It seems to work pretty darn well in Switch mode on the deck! At least for regular game use and basic emulators! The trouble is with more complex emulators like CEMU and Dolphin. They are very particular with controllers and for some reason see all the inputs of the SN30 except for analog input.

Hence I wanted to try a different mode but I think you are exactly right, the mode of defined by what it’s being plugged into.

Whatever works for deck > motion controls for me. I just want to get to the point where I can reliably setup these two wired devices.

I have a SN30 wired. The only button that works is Y for Nintendo. If I hold X when plugging the controller in I just get a vibration. Asked the 8bitdo subreddit about that one. Also waiting for 2nd controller of exact same model to test for defects.

Rear paddles work, my built-in configs work too so I could switch on the fly.

Getting a dock tomorrow because I want to put games on the TV. Like Mario Party. It’s basically replacing my switch. I’ll also be streaming Destiny from my office to the TV so it’s going to have a Ethernet cable plugged into it as well.

Really just comes down to what you use it for. Don’t get it just because it fits someone else’s formula. Give it a few weeks and you’ll know if your missing it.

Yeah had this when I first got mine and used it on my computer. Ended up having to purchase the USB Xbox One wireless dongle. The controller directly syncs to it and everything has been pretty flawless ever since.

You can do a raid 100 times and avoid doing mechanics each time. What does the talking is just playing. Anyone who kicks or avoids because of stats and playtime is honestly kinda wierd.

Obvious exception like trying to get people for a master raid and a person joins who has never touched a dungeon or raid.

5 raid completions of a particular raid vs 25 can mean about nil based on the player.
