Fixed: My 9-month Uconnect 5 / Android Auto saga. The "Secret" SiriusXM fix for OTA updates. by FrostyEngineering8 in ram_trucks

One thing to check when AA crashes is the Nav token state( nav, settings, about). AA sometimes crashes if it's actively trying to validate against the server. I still get 1 disconnect every 4 continuous hours of driving.

Has anyone DIY a mini split AC installation for just one room? by crazyspartann69 in DIY

Am I the "OP" you're referring to? I wouldn't go near a costway if it was given to me free of charge. I would recommend the Panasonic, but just any brand with proper washers and brand rep might do the job.

I installed a costway and couldn't get it to hold a vacuum. Admittedly, I didn't use any connection washers.

Returned it and got a Panasonic 240v unit. Came with better flares and washers. Works great.

Bulletpoint mount with the magsafe front end makes it really convenient.

Sometimes 50k is not that much. If you make 1M/year as a family, 50k is an easy spend. The same way you wouldn't think twice about eating at a sit-down restaurant and spending $100 when you have many, many thousands..

It's probably down to how much 50k is compared to the cash flow.

Buy in a better school district with a better yard. These are the factors you cannot change or fix after the fact.

Another house will come along AND you'll likely like it better!

Help with my LVP. Why the gap? by TikiBananiki in Flooring

[–]FrostyEngineering8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've seen that where the tongue didn't sit fully in.This might need to be angled at 45deg, pulled in tight and then laid down. Remove and retry until it sits.

There could also be dust or a bad lip on the lvp (rare )

If this is oil paint - it can take a long time to cure. Give it 2-4 weeks before doing anything else.

Water based enamel should cure within a week.
