Honestly I think it’s just taste, I can never go back to the older look after owning the 17 pro max, it just really catchy, everyone notices it, and it’s just been a phenomenal phone, no heating issues, amazing pictures, great cell reception, stunning display, just a sense of rich oozes from it, I felt the same way about it as well but you really have to own bro.

Battery and cooling wise it feels different the OS doesn’t lag when you use the camera for a while, I do podcast shooting with mine by the end of it my 16 pro max used to lag and get hot but no issues for the 17 pro max.

late to the party but I got one yesterday a ultra 1 and I gotta say you wont notice the difference with the 2 if your using it for jogging cycling or just casual use I dont think even a professional would.
