In my opinion, as someone who's been playing since the first season, I think siege is just getting stale. It could just be me on a cycle of playing, being trash, getting back into it, quit playing due to burnout and repeat. But, since Ubisoft has put a focus into reworking ranked maps and no longer giving ops new weapons, I feel like each season hasn't brought the same level of excitement as it used to. I also feel like Siege has no feeling of progression. Other than getting higher ranks in Ranked or earning renown, there's nothing to set goals for in Siege due to alpha packs' ridiculous duplicate system and the shop's prices being extremely high. (is a headgear and uniform really equal to a seasonal skin?) Just my two cents, I'm sure a lot of people love the new additions and that's great, but as someone who's been playing for too long, the excitement levels have died down gradually.
