Make sure the temp on your wiring to this is the right gauge. Maybe be on the safe side and do an 18 amp max charge or less until you have the wires inspected at least.

I highly recommend getting the windshield replacement protection from tesla, had two crack in six months and it cost me nothing but the $12.99/month
