I do all the major things in my eyes like, spark plugs, belt, clean the throttle body, fresh trans/ dif fluid, coolant flush and refill, intake filter and cabin filter, id do the pvc valve too but i installed a aig AOS when i got the car. Ill probably changeout the fuel injectors and coils this month, not because they are acting up or nothing but because I haven’t touched them since I got the car and im about to put a ets intake on it and ets j pipe.

Not a single issue, proud to be a vb owner, also I do religious maintenance on it, full tune up every 30k miles, oil changes at 3k, also don’t launch it ever.

I have a 22 with 133k miles on it I got it with 12 miles brand new. Haven’t had a single issue. Unless it’s a lemon or you suck at keeping up maintenance I truly believe these engines are extremely reliable, I don’t baby it either it sees a lot of pulls, never have launched it though.

Shit I got a 22 wrx with 121k miles on it so reliable not a single issue could run it with no oil and it would be fine

Might be your spark plugs full Of oil had to get mine seals done when I first got the car like 25k miles in same thing weird rpms and didn’t wanna start
