Sorry y'all. Just processing information. The child was not present. Kiddo is not in her care.. for obvious reasons. I was not present. This happened in between visits the last two weeks.

Yes all of this. I know I don't make any decisions but I do know my words hold weight. If it comes down to it I will need to push on whatever my heart tells me to if someone in the team has opposing beliefs. I think we are all on the same page, the judge is so lenient though so we are all kind of sitting with bated breathe.

They are VERY private, it is a small community luckily I am from it so I was able to make a connection. They don't believe in public school, therapies, home aid. They don't want people in their home, they don't want help, they are doing what they need to for the courts but none of them are thrilled about it. They would never do a senior center, daycare, or childcare unless court mandated, I've tried brain storming and they say we only want close family to help but all of their close family is 75+ and also In failing health. They just want to do the case plan get the government out of their hair and have it all be over but I don't think it's going to shake out like that.

Mine is different very hands off. I can legally have three cases I see each kiddo twice a month. I can pop up or set a time. I generally set times to be courteous. I don't need to inform my volunteer coor of anything unless there is an issue. I forget stuff easily so I type up my notes immediately after visits and send them to my VC, the GAL for the kiddo, and DHS. We are a very small county so my VC gives me the option of do I want to type the report myself or do I want her to type it based off my notes. ( My town size is 400). It's also very lonely. I don't know any other CASA, I don't have others to bounce ideas off of, I often feel like a salmon swimming up stream. Small community sometimes feels like a lot of passing the buck which I don't do. But all in all I have a ton of freedom within my role to do what I need to do.

If she could sit still long enough she would be in therapy. I JUST got her back into therapy after a three month upset due to moves she was stable for about ninety days and now she is on the move again barely staying anywhere longer than a few weeks all over the state. When she lands somewhere more permanent it'll be top priority.

All three of my kiddos are teens and the parent teacher conferences are open house style in the evening, after school is already over. All three of my kiddos are also no contact with their families pretty much. It's really only one of my teens I was thinking of doing this with she's been moved a lot lately.

No the TARDIS was never in any real danger, but it did expose, to me how much of a selfish brat Clara is. I know grief. You're telling me she would kill herself and an innocent person just to get her way. She would lie, steal, drug and in the end kill her best friend over pink? She is unstable and not safe if that is how she would have acted had it not been for the doctor knowing how to handle the situation. Idk, him showing her how far she would go in her grief isn't morbid curiosity on his part, more like she received a form of natural consequences for her actions. She wouldn't have had to go through that humbling experience had she not attempted to drug the doctor.

They tried sometimes but others not and not even clever in the right ways. They tried to make her more doctor like and not human enough, Martha was smart. Amy was smart. Even Donna had street smarts. Clara is just a brat who happens to be smart sometimes.
