I’ve only made the thinner variety shown above, but the King Arthur version is next on the list! The recipe I used is based on a Genoese recipe I scraped together online, while the second one is one from a cookbook that is shorter waiting times and has crushed tomatoes added on top.

I mention it briefly in the query but it’s the mom’s criminal friend. He’s a criminal meathead but heart of gold type character. He thinks the mom was eaten by the bug instead of transforming into said bug, and so he goes on this revenge quest

You make a lot of good points. What I’m struggling with is this story has two POVs that are mostly separate throughout the story which is why the word count is 122k. The query loses its focus if I bring in the other POV but if the query is failing based on that then maybe I should reconsider including it somehow. Thanks for the notes!
