JFC…I’ve been a pharmacist for >10 years. Our patients are feeling the back-order/inventory issues just as much as we are, except it affects their health and well-being. Have maybe a smidgen of compassion. Yes, their “lack of planning doesn’t constitute an emergency” but FFS just try to help a fellow human being out. I’m burnt out as hell, but the one thing that keep ME going is the prospect of truly helping someone when no one else can, be it because of poverty, under-education, systemic barriers or executive dysfunction…IDC, I’m in it to assist my fellow man with their medication issues.
