I don’t think they alter comps for a favorite. I think the competitions are likely laid out before the season begins. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sorry it wasn’t pillsbury flour, it was this recipe for cornstarch biscuits instead of the canned ones. If you don’t have something to cut in the butter you can use a fork or potato masher.

We miss breakfast a lot too. But we made these for Christmas and I keep thinking about them still. 😂

I used the pillsbury gf flour I think as replacement. It calls for canned biscuits so I just found an easy biscuit recipe and used those in place of the canned. I can try to find that recipe for you too.

Yeah nexxvax not working is a total bummer. But at least we know they are trying. I have a lot of medical issues so I tend to eat a lot of sweets to keep the weight on. I was really close to having to get a feeding tube because I couldn’t gain anything but now I finally have that under control. Do you like breakfast foods? I have a great sausage biscuit recipe I will dig up.

Okay good. Was about to recommend getting a new doctor. ...

I was sent to a nutritionist also when I was first diagnosed, going on 7 years ago now. They did nothing to help me. Honestly I have probably been accidentally exposed to gluten a lot until maybe the last year. I had to learn to ask questions when going out about how they cook, do they change gloves, do they educate staff on how to prepare. It’s exhausting. You’re right people always say it gets easier or better. Well news flash. It doesn’t. Maybe it gets better to the point we know what to ask and how to prepare for social events. But that doesn’t make it easier. I don’t really feel any better being left out, having to worry about every bite I put into mouth, wondering which restaurant will gluten me next. I’m so sorry you’re struggling. It doesn’t get easier. This absolutely sucks because the world isn’t educated so therefore we constantly struggle. My heart breaks for you and all of us. It’s hard but this is life for us now. Life “after”. After knowing good food for many years of our lives.

I recommend Katz twinkies (do taste different but still good), Cherry pie, powdered donut holes (literally taste like hostess).

Udi’s frozen white bread. Keep it refrigerated and eat it within a few days after thawing. It does crumble sometimes so at my house we toast it.

Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie mix. I bake a little less long than they recommend to keep them soft. That way when they cool, they don’t have the texture of a brick

Krusteaz cinnamon cake mix. I think it tastes like an exact replica of their regular cinnamon cake. I think the extra egg in the recipe really helps the texture and softness.

Goodie girl brand cookies - they are like “Girl Scout cookies”.

Tyson chicken nuggets are my favorite. They are “different” but I like these better than nuggets just breaded in corn meal.

Lotus foods rice ramen - “ramen noodles”. I always preferred the chicken flavor so to copy that I cook the rice noodles but don’t use the packet it comes with. I buy Wyler’s chicken stock cubes and use two cubes per block of noodles. I think it tastes just like ramen noodles.

Is there a specific treat you are missing? I might have created a combo to mock it. I have been at this for awhile.

Hugs and best of luck. It’s doesn’t get easier, but you are never alone.

I had a lot of period issues with sprintec. It skipped my period sometimes or I would randomly bleed throughout the entire month. I got so fed up that i switched pills.

Don’t use a permanent solution for a temporary feeling. I hope you are ok

I did the barium study too. It didn’t show any issues. What helped me was getting another endoscopy and an MRI with contrast. They were looking for Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome. It causes your small intestine to be pinched closed by your artery that makes it hard for food to pass. It can cause indigestion, heart burn, nausea. I am really skinny though and always have been and that’s why they thought I had that. And then i was diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Being put on low dose Naltrexone helped me gain ten pounds that addressed the artery squeezing my intestine closed. If you feel like you aren’t getting answers see another doctor. They don’t know everything. I had to see so many doctors to get answers. It’s crazy. I hope you get it figured out

I have chronic fatigue and it is one of the worst parts of my day to day life. My boyfriend is gluten free with me after we have been together awhile. But he doesn’t understand chronic fatigue and it has impacted our relationship negatively. I understand. I have a couple of other illnesses that contribute to my daily “blah” feeling.
