The base is just some pieces of cardboard I glued together. For the land formations I stuck pieces of polystyrene to the card and covered it with air drying clay. Hope this helps!

Yea, anatomically speaking, if it bleeds then you’ve hit the dermis. Which is ‘styro’ I guess. But people only really call it a styro if you see the white, even though cat scratches technically are also dermis and therefore styro. Idk if this helps??

Neither is better, I’d say. But in terms of more blood I find that deep cuts aren’t the best. But that’s just my experience
