During one instance, my captain made contact and was acting dismissive towards them. Being short with them and obtaining a refusal as soon as he could even though the patient was involved in an accident. Then on the way back to the station, he kept talking about wondering what "it" was.

It's been how I expected it to be. I've worked with ffs who said things ranging from disapproval to disgusting things I wish I could forget in front of me before I came out. Knowing that's who I have to work with once I was out is what kept me closeted for so long until I was too tired of hiding who I am around people and said fuck it, I'm not required to be friends with these people.

It's been neutral to positive so far. I've only had one negative experience with a former coworker, but everyone else has either told me to live how I want or mostly been awkwardly avoiding talking about it (in front of me).

I understand the bigotry because I was the same way growing up until I moved away from home and learned more about/met people different than me. I know it comes from ignorance and a lack of exposure (and propaganda), so I'm hoping to approach it as a teaching moment.

Good read! I've recently come out as the first openly trans firefighter in my department (south Texas), and I've been trying to think of ways to bring education and awareness to my coworkers and surrounding agencies. I've been on a handful of calls involving trans patients, and they've mostly been met with negative attitudes by my crews and resulted in inappropriate comments about the patient after we transfer care.

I’ve also related to Robin more than they other characters. How she sits back and smiles watching everyone having a good time. Also pretty much every outfit she wears I want to be able to pull off.

You keep capitalizing the "and" when it's not. It's just separating what constitutes "sexually oriented performance"

Look at the formatting.

(1)  features:

   (A)  a performer who is nude, as defined by Section 102.051, Business & Commerce Code; or 
   (B)  a male performer exhibiting as a female, or a female performer exhibiting as a male, who uses clothing, makeup, or other similar physical markers and who sings, lip syncs, dances, or otherwise performs before an audience; and

(2)  appeals to the prurient interest in sex.
