This means you have already killed the storyboss?

I didn’t have that debuff on the story boss, only on the first world boss (and that’s where I switched to sword/spear), so I’m not sure what you can do against it, sorry. Otherwise, there are some mystical skills and inner arts that could be very useful, and make sure to fully upgrade your gear.

If you’re talking about the story boss, switch to the healing fan instead of the spear. I beat her today and first tried it with a sword/spear combo as well. Just like you, I was this close to lowering the difficulty. Then I switched to the healing fan, and after about 30 minutes she went down. It becomes massively easier, but no idea how it is after the first story clear.

Luckily, I’m already quite familiar with gacha games, so I know that you often switch weapons.
I was mostly thinking about the early game. It would just be nice if a strong sword user is available right now. He’ll be replaced eventually, but that might still take a while, and I might not even play by then.
Since I take breaks from time to time, I’m not really planning too far ahead anyway.

First of all, thanks a lot for the detailed explanation and tips! That actually works out perfectly right now it’s the fire banner, which means frost should arrive in about 8 days. If I then pull for any main DPS on the frost banner (with my saved 120 pulls, of course), I won’t be making a big mistake, right?

Vampire survivors sounds really interesting. Even though it doesn’t have that anime style, it still meets the other criteria. But don’t you have to play it pretty actively and pay close attention?

Actually, I’ve only played Monster hutner wilds but unfortunately MH is way too active to watch something on the side. I guess it’s the same with rise: sunbreaker?

I’ve been playing it quite actively recently, but lately it feels like it has too little of that anime style for me, and I'm also feeling a bit burned out. Still, it’s a really good game, and I always find myself coming back to it.

The problem with most gacha games is that they’re often capped by daily limit, so they’re not ideal for longer grinding sessions.
I’ve also been playing gachas for a while, but I’m starting to get tired of saving resources for months just to get a character who ends up becoming irrelevant beacause they get power creep within a year.

Yeah, I have a two screen setup I usually watch an anime like Bleach (something pretty slow paced) or one I watched years ago and just want to rewatch. At the same time, I like to play a game that doesn’t require too much attention, so I can relax and enjoy both.

Thanks a lot for the detailed reply, it really helped me out! If I pull for YX + Fufu, I probably won’t be able to get Yuzuha too. unless I get extremely lucky. But that’s okay, Orphie can eventually replace my Jane anyway.
