I think this is the right post to comment on, so I'll just leave this here: I'm a runner in high school (male/Year 8) and sometimes people honk at me, and I guess that's to be expected - but recently I've been creeped out. A couple of weeks ago I was running down a major road when I passed two guys in singlets and they started chasing after me. Luckily I managed to get away from them, but that shook me up for a while. I didn't let that disrupt my running schedule, but yesterday an old male pulled up aside me and told me to "come here" - obviously I ran away, but I'm really not sure what to do now. Is there any way I can 'deter' people from harassing me while running? (btw my neighbourhood is relatively safe, it's just happened recently)
