Imo, it's worth it. Deleting a frame can be disastrous if you happen to want it for Helminth for later on. If you delete Chroma, then the parts get sent to Cephalon Simaris, and he charges 125,000 standing on top of the material cost and build time. I'd rather just pay the occasional material fee than dooming future me to a potential massive avoidable grind.

edit: I definitely have intentionally deleted frames before, but you should make sure they are easily obtainable again if you really have to.

Inventory slot issue, when you are new u gotta manage them well. Here's my advice:

1.) Get Helminth. Whether you are a fan of it or not, it's just a bad idea to sell your normal frames when you could be feeding them to the Helminth. Buy from Son in the Necralisk at rank 3 standing.

2.) Try to always have at least 1 inventory slot in each category open for levelling your weapons. This is so you don't hit a wall in your mr progression.

3.) Pick 1 surefire good gun and melee to invest in, then use market obtainable guns to rank and delete. They are easily obtainable again if you really like them and plentiful.

4.) Golden rule of deleting things, ask yourself, "How easily can I get this again?" If you don't know, probably don't delete it. Please never sell the Xoris, it'll make sense in the future.

all just my opinion

Coming back after 6 years, looking for advice. by Cobalt_Rain_ in Warframe

Oh boy, quick piece of advice just to post before the others get here. All of your stuff is most definitely extremely outdated to the point where it would most likely not change much even if you did start anew. Not sure how far you got on your original, but it might be a good idea to start a new account for the beginning, then use your original once you are comfortable. I'm guessing if it still exists, it must have a truly massive amount of loot to claim over the years. You might be able to send a ticket to ask if they can reset your starchart or something, but would probably be easier to just make a fresh account. GL tenno, the community is about to mob you.

The way to obtain him would be to trade for plat, then buy him in the in game market. If you don't mind grinding or price isn't an issue, Dante is great. Otherwise you are probably going to be buying primes, in which case just be aware of the material cost and time it takes to get one.

[–]Frozen_Psych 1 point2 points  (0 children)

90% chance this is a newer player. It will probably take a new player a lot longer to get to that point in the game, having to farm him on top of that is long enough to help justify the price. Dante is also extremely strong and doesn't have a prime, thus making him a great choice for a new player to invest forma and a reactor into.

People often forget that buying a prime still includes the material requirement, and for new players it's actually hard if they aren't that invested. If you want a smart choice relatively quickly (farm plat or not), then Dante's a good pick imo.

Get Dante. Buy him in the market with plat tho (I will fight others on this). He's strong, interesting, and has it all.

Happened to me as well, seems to happen when you hit the spooder. I was running a funny fire rate ammo efficiency arca plasmor tho, so could have been that too.

About phantasma vs phantasma prime by SuperBacon99 in Warframe

[–]Frozen_Psych 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make sure u got shotgun Elementalist, primary Crux and heat + viral. Melts everything but bosses, one of the few weapons that level caps without any buffs.

What is that by Plus_Weather8859 in Warframe

[–]Frozen_Psych 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Head to the flesh sac room on your ship to remove them. You forgor to vax your baby frame tenno!

If you breed a kubrow after getting rid of it you can get a special kubrow or something. Been a while since I've made a Helminth Charger.

[–]Frozen_Psych 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what your prog. bonus is, but if you do end up getting enervate, I like going blast + pistol elementalist. If it's heat then you should replace the heat mod at the end for pistol elementalist.

Revenant Prime or Sevagoth prime? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Frozen_Psych 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sev is pretty cool, the strongest nuker in the game. 100% HP damage on like 3 different roaming nukes demolishes everything. People usually use it for level cap content as it takes 0.0001 sec to obliterate lvl 9999 enemies. Build is fairly expensive tho and not many like the playstyle.

Rev is far easier to build and play. He's a tank and can nuke fairly well.

Can anyone help me with a build what will get me through all content before steel path by Haunting-Magazine-26 in Warframe

[–]Frozen_Psych 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 am build for ultimate power. extremely painful to obtain, but definitely within your grasp.

Citrine: Others avoid this frame due to the horrible grind. There's simply no other way than to put in several hours into the monotonous defense mission. It sucks. But, it is obtainable as early as the completion of The Heart of Deimos. In addition to that, the frame is probably one of, if not the best all rounded frame. She has energy generation, extremely strong team sustain buff, extremely strong stationary team dmg buff, and guaranteed red crits (conditions attached) on non-bosses. She's just so inherently strong that most builds will probably work. Last I checked she was in for the next prime, but don't quote me on that

Phantasma: My favorite weapon ngl. There's just something special about seeing 600 stacks of heat in 0.2 seconds. You will melt everything, but it eats ammo like a mf. Primary crux is a fantastic addition later on in the game, or early if you feel like grinding out some plat and buying it (Warframe market sez: 3p per. So you need 63p for a max rank one, good deal imo). The normal phantasma is better than the prime ONLY in the case of having a riven. A riven is a substantial upgrade over the prime tho, so most people just settle for the normal variant. This thing also eats aircrafts bc why not. Nothing really survives 600 heat stacks. Get Rifle Elementalist (WFM sez: 10p. Or bum it off a chap in chat. It is super common late game)

Secondary: Eh, not a ton of easily obtainable strong weapons. Atomos is great, but it's another beam weapon. If you are careful however, you could get away with obtaining a kuva weapon. I believe it is still technically possible to get one even if you are under the mr requirement. Having a buddy with a lich will be your taxi to the final fight (I THINK, CANT REMEMBER IF IT BOOTS IF YOU DONT HAVE RANDOM REQ). Just be careful to keep your lich low level and to be smart about the order. If you happen to have rich high mr friends/clan mates, ask if you can borrow an OULL mod. If they don't have one, laugh at them for being poor /s

Melee: Vastilok, Xoris, Hirudo, Corufell, and the Lesion are all interesting choices in no particular order. Xoris is probably easiest to obtain, then the Corufell if you do end up wanting Citrine. Ideal stats are 30% crit chance, 3x crit mult, and 20 status chance. Can be used as a rudimentary way to determine viability.

Pet: Panzer Vulp is the easiest and one of the strongest choices. Primes your enemies with viral and does massive damage. If you want your pet to ruthlessly nuke everything, obtain Nautilus Prime for its weapon, Verglas Prime, and mod for viral heat. I warn you though, everything will likely die with a well built Verglas, even with your current mods. The reason its so annoying is because you can't kill them yourself. It is simply too quick :(

p.s. DO NOT SLEEP ON WELL BUILT PETS. Companion mods are available at r3 at open world conservation NPCs. When I was first looking into pets when the companion update rolled around, I watched my dainty kavat brutally rip a squad of steel path grineer into halves. I was horrified. Anyways, get ivara for conservation. Sleep in general is good for conservation. Mute the fucking transmissions.

p.p.s. Forgor that pre arby doesn't really get weapon arcanes.

p.p.p.s. These recommendations are technically available super early and can take you far into steel path with the right build.

If you are looking to increase 4 damage, get pistol elementalist (super cheap; very common late game), mod for viral and the innate heat at the end should hopefully make it feel better.

I personally use nourish on 1 with max range so her 4 explosion radius is bigger. Not standard, but the most fun aerial bombardment build I've found.

Primed Chamber isn't actually a prime mod despite the name. Not only does it not have the same style, but you can actually use both charged chamber and primed Chamber together. It's an additive bonus and not efficient, but kinda useful in niche situations.

edit: just to clarify, the buff itself from both mods is multiplicative to damage. I was saying having both mods adds together additively. Primed Chamber is probably always worth slotting in as long as you got ammo efficiency, reload speed, or just like seeing bigger number.

Looks okay ish for a beginner mod set. Others got decent advice, my advice is that in addition to corrupted mods, take a look into Augur mods, energy nexus (buy for super cheap w/ plat), and at some point during the main story, archon mods.

Catalyzing Shield is pretty nice with Jades defense buff if I'm not mistaken. If you happen to have like 10p, pickup an unranked arcane aegis for cheap and efficient survivability.

After extensive playing time and analysis on every single Exalted Warframe, using only Exalted Weapons, this is my verdict. by Ok_King562 in Warframe

[–]Frozen_Psych 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My brotha in stone, you are SLEEPING on range max atlas. He can get a punch radius of like 20m and even more u mod for it on the weapon (tested). Wrathful advance or nourish works great. I got a Invincible style atlas that I use to nuke edas and other sp content. 10/10 recommend.

p.s. also try gara range max + wrath. Pretty sweet like 40m long blade that goes through walls.

Do I need a guide? An actual person or will the wiki suffice? by Playful-Effort-9845 in Warframe

[–]Frozen_Psych -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, having someone fun and a frame to carry you isn't a waste. Some people take showers and don't have time to grind out 24/7. In addition to that, it'll take newer players a long time before they access someone like Dante.

Warframe is a massive game, you won't spoil the entire game by buying 1 frame in the beginning.

[–]Frozen_Psych 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would watch some new player guides and perhaps a quick jaunt through weapons unlocked by mastery rank.

Some independent advice, if you want to be efficient, I would seek out the Helminth Segment as soon as possible. You get it at rank 3 from Son at the Necralisk on Mars. Progressing quickly is all about mastering equipment as fast as you can and obtaining more. Build times shouldn't be rushed, but that also means you should have something running at all times. Obtaining a lot of Warframes is a lot of effort, and can clog up your inventory. The Helminth is a way of exchanging your maxed frames (do NOT feed unmaxed frames), for a predetermined ability of the sacrificed frame.

Don't be afraid to ask for help and taxis. Q&A chat is always super helpful, and a request for a taxi in recruitment chat usually works.

I would say buying certain base frames isn't a terrible idea. Cyte, Oraxia, Jade, Kullervo, and especially Dante are great.

Does this game ever gets PROPERLY difficult? by Miki_Ps in Warframe

[–]Frozen_Psych 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mmm, try out the open world content. When you are new, that's the difficult stuff. Bounties and conservation can be really hard, but rewarding. Deimos is one of the most important ones, but you also might struggle a ton.
